Thanks for your interest in my writing services. I realize you’ll want to learn more about what it’s like to work with me, so I have prepared some information below. If there’s something I haven’t covered, ask me!

What can I expect from working with you?

You can expect exactly the same as I would expect from working with a business writer. Someone who cares about your project as much as I would care about my own. Someone who meets deadlines. Someone who is experienced, enthusiastic and has a high level of attention to detail.

I believe that having the right mindset is crucial to success, so I bring a professional and helpful attitude to my work. I try to answer all inquiries and emails within 24 hours. And it’s is my goal to provide you with a finished project that you’re 100% satisfied with in the timeframe agreed.

Do you do the work yourself or do you outsource?

I do the writing myself after collaborating with you and your team for ideas and messaging.

Can you include the design too?

I can include the design too by working with a designer if you’d like. Alternatively, I can recommend a designer if you would like to keep this as a separate project.

I have a tight deadline. How soon can you start on my writing project?

Once I understand the scope of your project, I can let you know how soon I can get your project completed.

What sort of turnaround time can I expect?

Under normal circumstances, I will get your first draft completed within 7-14 working days. However, due to the urgent nature of some writing projects at this time of the Covid-19 pandemic, I will assess and communicate to you how soon I believe I can complete your project.

What if I want to make some revisions?

Revisions are a normal part of the writing process, and I fully expect that you will require some. I will plan to give you two, or three if necessary to ensure your satisfaction.

I’m in USA, and you’re in New Zealand. Can we still work together?

Absolutely! The internet enables me to help you from anywhere. I can use phone calls, video calls, and email to communicate with you and help you get your project done.

How much do you charge?

Because each project is different, it’s hard to say. Once I understand more about the scope of your project, I’m happy discuss your project fee with you during our call.

What do your fees include?

Your project fee will include the writing assignment you requested, plus up to 3 revisions to ensure you are satisfied.

Do you ask for a deposit?

Depending on the scope of the project, I require a 50% deposit fee before I start.

How can I hire you?

Do I need to sign a contract?

After we discuss your project, I send you an agreement which basically outlines what you will receive from me in what timeframe. It’ll also state what fee I charge for your project and lay out the terms of payment.

What sets you apart from everyone else?

I’ve been very fortunate to live in three different countries; New Zealand, China and the United States of America.

With that comes daily experience of cultural and language nuances that may not be so obvious to everyone. I always try to put myself in the shoes of the audience to understand how they might react.

I’ve also had a taste of many different writing styles in my working history; technical writing, proofreading (including naturalizing English for business use) and copywriting. These are skills that I’d like to offer you now, as a freelancer.
